I fell in love with storytelling when I was quite young. I have created stories in my mind for years, rarely sharing them with others. Life experiences have brought me some negative comments and beliefs that have made me shy away from sharing my writing with others. However, with maturity both in life and in my faith, I started sharing a few pieces with friends. Those friends encouraged me to start a blog.

In 2018, I established Grace Additives as my blog website. I did not know the first thing about designing a website, but dove in anyway. I attended a conference or two to learn about writing and the calling I felt God placing in my life. He gave me so much material and I published (blogs) without a thought (sometimes it showed). I wrote consistently at first, but then life happened and a betrayal sidelined my writing. I prayed through it all, writing the occasional post on Facebook or in my website. I had given up on writing, on myself.

THEN God prompted me to write a book during the pandemic. I fought it. Four years, I fought it. Then I stepped into my faith and trusted that He called me to write a devotional. In the Summer of 2025, my first book was published. “Come To The Table, A Shame-Free Invitation To Your Identity In Christ” is a 30-day devotional dealing with a Shame-based Identity vs a Christ-based Identity. We walk through my life that was filled with shame which kept me from seeing how God sees me in Christ.  I created a coloring book, “Come To The Table, a Coloring Resource,” shortly after the devotional was published as a resource.  In the Fall of 2026, “The Gremlin, The Mirror, And Me” is released.  It is a children’s book taking the message from the devotional to children.  The idea and heart of the story is to prevent children from developing a shame-based identity.
